Chronolog: Remote Memory, is an installation that creates found poems from interviews with Indonesian diaspora in order to develop communal histories in the wake of state censorship in the U.S. and Indonesia. The purpose of the project is to explore how our histories can be preserved when we have and continue to be denied the ability to “officially” preserve our own archives.
